Silchar, a town located in Cachar district of South Assam, which is considered as the second biggest town after Guwahati, has a unique sight during a rainy day that might not have in any part of the country.
The people of several districts in the Brahmaputa Valley of the State have been reeling under the floods. However, fortunately the south Assam is till safe as the principle river Barak is under control, according to water resource department and there no imminent threat of floods in the valley.
